I am trying to build version 18 of Emacs on a Plexus machine running SysV 5.2

I get to the point where it issues the command 
	./temacs -batch -l inc-vers
Then make says 
	*** Termination code 10

Does anybody know if there is any significance to the number 10?  Are the 
failure codes documented anywhere?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
