The requirements to create a System V.3 shared library look very hackish.
Has anyone created a shared library with C++ there?
Is it worth doing?
What are the problems?

Both C++ 2.0 and System V.4 promise new features to better support library
development.  Is it significantly easier to develop shared libraries using
them?
