There is a bug with the "limit" function that I expected would be
fixed in the 2.1 release, but no such luck.

When we limit the items to be viewed, moving the currency pointer
with 'k' allows it to be moved onto item 0 (whence it disappears).
Advancing it with 'j' causes it to reappear.

Problems also occur if the current message is greater than the number
of items left after the "limit" is applied.
