I'm trying to set up a mail gateway that will do the "right thing" in dealing with mail from stock VMS (system::user), BSD Unix, stock Xenix (which uses delimiters for transport selection, i.e. any of "system:user", "system%user", "system@user" or "system!user", depending on the communication link), and whatever else someone decides to hook into our network.
