I've just bought MINIX for the ST and I've noticed a problem.
If any user tries to use pipes or redirection, I get the following:
fd8: Write permission denied
(or something along those lines)
Note that the superuser ROOT can use these with no problems...

Any help out there?
It's rather annoying.
