A while ago I asked for help in identifying a mysterious disk drive so I
could get it to work. Thank you, it works now, but I still don't know what
it is. I do, however, know that it is a CDC 8-inch fixed disk, and has 1217
tracks, 10 heads, and 48 sectors/track. (Oh. SMD interface, too.)

Can anybody out there tell me the model number or something?
