  In the documentation for NCSA Telnet is a description for what they call 
'jump' scrolling, which should significantly increase the speed of terminal 
updating in scroll mode.

  However, I can't seem to get it to work.  I've seen no mention of a problem 
with this;  what am I doing wrong?
