K-STAR responds to ICMP redirects by believing the information in the
redirect for approximately 5 minutes.  It then goes back to whatever
the current "default router" is.

If you *do not* fill in the "default router" field, K-STAR will use existing
RIP (Berkeley's "Routing Information Protocol"; a TCP/IP version of RTMP)
packets on the network to discover gateways, again retaining information
for approximately 5 minutes (RIP packets are "supposed to" be generated
every 30 seconds or so).
