Subject: How to determine route taken between two hosts.

Are there any programs available to determine what path (or paths)
is being used to transmit TCP packets between two hosts?  What I
would like is something like "ping" that also shows the route the
IMP packet took.  Isn't there a "route record" option to TCP that
would do the trick?
