I am very interested in the Smithsonian Star catalog. However, 
I have no way of unpacking these things, as they were done in a
Unix specific manner and I don't use Unix. (See my supernova-sized
flame in comp.arch over a similar problem with the Dhrystone postings).
Is this thing available anywhere for ftp - ALREADY UNPACKED?
Also, I would like a little bit more data than in these listings.
I also have access to the tapes, and can, if necessary, do the 
compression myself, but I'd rather not have to.

Any help, anybody?
If I do make a somewhat larger excerpt, I will make them available
on tape or IBMPC floppies - it will truly be too big to post.
