I am in search of a testing tool(s) which will perform the following
functions in a UNIX environment:

	- Capture and playback keystrokes

	- Capture output, both terminal and print, and save to a file

	- Make comparisons of two sets of output files and identify
	  differences

These tools will be used in a Quality Assurance environment to verify
functionality based on requirements and functional specifications.

I have been able to locate two companies which offer these tools. These
companies and their tools are:

	Performix, Inc. - Empower

	Software Research, Inc. - CapBack, Smarts, and ExDiff

Is anyone aware of other tool available or have had experience with the
above tools?  If so, I would appreciate any feedback.  Thanks in
advance.
