Lines: 34 I'm in need of a PD Unix-compatible lexical analyzer generator. I have an almost-compatible from DECUS, with modifications by Robert Denny, Martin Minow and Scott Guthery. The last modification date on it is 20-Nov-83. I'm looking for one that's much more Unix-like. The problem with the one I have is that it is a subset of Unix lex. The syntax is also different in a lot of ways. And then there are its short comings such as no yylineno variable. Not that it isn't a well written program and good as far as it goes, though. So, does any one know of a better one? I'll need to be able to port it to Sun OS, VMS and Apollo AEGIS.
