You must tell Well, actually, I did have a wrong mountlist entry right at first. I fixed my mountlist, but still had problems with format. Basiclly, I want to know two things about format: 1) Why would it quit right after printing out the first cylinder and remaining cylinders, and not not format the rest of the partition. This problem seemed to be fixed by reprepping, even thought didn't think I should need to reprep, since the partition size didn't change. 2) Why would format spit out the "handler not found" error? I fixed this by mounting a OFS partition, starting format, then aborting format with ^C, then mounting a FFS partition on the same cylinders of the same disk, and then formating again. After format was finished, I rebooted, and have been happily using my FFS partition ever since. >-- >Rick Schaeffer UUCP: uunet!iscuva!ricks >ISC Systems Corp. ricks@iscuva.ISCS.COM >Box TAF-C8 Phone: (509)927-5114 >Spokane, WA 99220 >---------- -- Rodger Anderson (rodger@hpdml93) or(rodger%hpdml93@hplabs.hp.com)
