Fred fish disk #147 has MicroGNUEmacs(MG 2b), but it probably doesn't have all the features you may be used to on the full blown Gnu Emacs. >3) > I got Digi-view for some fun. This is the pinout of the parallel port on the 1000: pin name 1 /STROBE 2-9 D0-D7 10 /ACK 11 BUSY 12 POUT 13 SEL 14 +5V PULLUP 15 NC 16 /RESET 17-25 GND This is the pinout of the parallel port on the 2000: pin name 1 /DRDY 2-9 D0-D7 10 /ACK 11 BUSY 12 POUT 13 SEL 14-22 GND 23 +5V 24 25 /RESET So, if you have something that is designed to connect to the 1000, but you have a 2000 or a 500, wire a gender-bender with pins 1-13, 14, 16, 17-22 of the 2000's connector across to pins 1-13, 23, 25, and 17-22, respectively, of the device's connector. Anyone who tries to do this wiring will have to take responsibility for any problems--I cannot assume any liability for mistakes here, although I believe it to be accurate.
