I recently downloaded vt100 v2.8a and found what I believe to be a bug that
has been around for a long time (my version 2.4 also seems to have it).  It
is simple:  vt100 is not freeing locks on the directories is downloads into.
I first noticed this because I like to download into a temporary area, then
move the stuff where I want it and delete the download directory.  I kept
getting "object in use", even if I had exited vt100.  Recently, I used xoper
to look at the locks in the system (vt100 was not running at the time, but
had been previously).  I found locks from every directory I had used to
download for the past three days (I run my 2000 all the time).

Has anyone else noticed this?  I would think it should be reasonably easy
to fix.  Tony?
