Hmmm. Is your Un*x system capable of long packets? Is your VMS system *incapable* of long packets? I have a bug report that says that 2.8 and 2.8A both try to send long packets even when they shouldn't. I have a fix to 2.8A that I'll post ASAP -- hopefully this will fix your problem. >-- >Jon Z.
