I would like to use my Amiga as a Usenet node with Sneakers Computing's
UUCP and netmail stuff.  I'm tired of paying $35 a month for Telenet +
Portal.

However, in order to do this, I need to know where a net site is that I can
call up for a feed (without paying long-distance bills - else I might as
well pay what I pay now).  I live in Kinston, NY.  

I have asked several acquaintances if there are any sites near me.  I have
found some which are in the same area code (914) but I don't think that
they are local calls.

So, for all you net hackers out there:

How do I find out what is the nearest node to me?
Is SUNY New Paltz a node?  Is Marist College?
