I have 3meg B2000, 2 3.5" floppies, and a 5.25" floppy (C= 1020). Now I have been able to successfully mount the 1020 floppy as a regular OFS device - DF2:, using the supplied mountlist entry in the AmigaDOS 1.3 package. However, when I attempt to mount it as an FFS device, and then try to format a floppy, it ALWAYS gurus the machine (sometimes with a Software held requestor, sometimes not...). At any rate, if anyone could please point out the errors in my ways... (I do NOT run FastMemFirst, though the first thing I do is mount a 880K RAD disk - FYI). Here's the mountlist entry, verbatium, that does NOT work: /* Mount a 5.25" disk drive to be mounted as DF2: */ DF2: Device = trackdisk.device FileSystem = l:FastFileSystem Unit = 2 Flags = 1 Surfaces = 2 BlocksPerTrack = 11 Reserved = 2 Interleave = 0 LowCyl = 0 ; HighCyl = 39 Buffers = 20 BufMemType = 3 DosType = 0x444F5301 Mask = 0x007FFFFF # Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. -Kurt -- ================================================================== == Kurt J.
