The Amiga 2090 User's Guide has this to say about interleave:
(on page 22)
Interleave    ....should be "0" for ST506 drives....

(and on page 38, under Specification/Performance/HardDisk ST506)
Sector Interleave   1:1

I suspect that the mountlist interleave is ignored for an ST506 device.
