Austin, Tx Lines: 28 I was using my Amiga at home the other night and found a need to bring a file from the Amiga side to the PC side. So I flipped open the booklet, read the directions, started PCDisk, then performed an AREAD and was told that the Amiga had problems opening the file. I switched to the Amiga window, performed a list on the exact same filename and the Amiga found it nicely. Thinking that it might be a problem with the device name, I tried the following combinations: AREAD AmigaDOS:myfile myfile AREAD SYS:myfile myfile AREAD JH0:myfile myfile One of the combinations (SYS, I think) caused the PC to hangup. The Amiga windows worked fine until I tried something that used the disk, at which point the Amiga went out to lunch too. I finally gave up for the night. So, has anyone ever bumped into this before? Any hints? Thanks Mike Schultz ..!uunet!cs.utexas.edu!oakhill!mikes
