Nearly all of the changes are transparent to users - some improvements in the SSC driver, buffers, etc (I don't recall what else Ted told me - nothing major). Apparently, it misbehaves on the //c+ (no doubt there'll be a newer beta version or even 3.86 once Ted solves that problem). Unless you're using a SSC clone that has problems with Kermit's driver or your host is sensitive about the timing of the "break" signal, version 3.84 (which IS the one on Columbia's servers) will do fine.
