Send mail to ===> LISTSERV@BROWNVM <=== notice commands go to LISTSERV
                                               not to the listname!!!!

SUBSCRIBE APPLE2-L your_1st_name your_last_name
SIGNOFF APPLE2-L  or
UNSUBSCRIBE APPLE2-L

you might find it very helpful to mail LISTSERV@BROWNVM (or any other handy
 LISTSERV) the following commands:
