Keywords: UNIX-PC 7300 internal modem auto answer Message-ID: <367@cmpfen.UUCP> Date: 15 Dec 88 16:23:05 GMT Organization: Computer Fenestrations, Lake Monroe, Florida Lines: 14 I just purchased a used 7300. I have two telephone lines, the first of which I always use for voice. The second I want to use for voice during the day, and for data after hours. How do I set this thing up so that the internal modem won't auto-answer during the day, without some sort of manual procedure required every morning and evening? With my other system, I just set up a crontab entry to send the appropriate strings to my Hayes-compatible modem to toggle auto-answer. -- Computer Fenestrations Bob Breum Post Office Box 151 {uiucuxc,hoptoad,petsd,ucf-cs}!peora!cmpfen!bob Lake Monroe, FL 32747 USA +1 407 322-3222 "C is the new BASIC"
