I noticed that mailx and the *roff family are missing from this machine. Is this because AT&T expected you to buy their Electronic Mail and Documentation Preparation packages to get those? I've used elm on my friend's Ultrix machine, and liked it. When the new 2.1 distribution came over the net, I thought that it would be a nice substit- ute for /usr/bin/mail. Well, the author used a bunch of >8 character identi- fiers which results in all sorts of conflicts when I try to compile it. Has anybody ported elm to the UNIX-PC in the past? Does anyone plan to port this version? Thanks for your input. -- Computer Fenestrations Bob Breum Post Office Box 151 {uiucuxc,hoptoad,petsd,ucf-cs}!peora!cmpfen!bob Lake Monroe, FL 32747 USA +1 407 322-3222 "C is the new BASIC"
