  I am looking for a Mandelbrot generator for my PC.  I have played around
with a bunch of public domain packages for a while now and am curious as
to what package, public domain or commercial, people out there feel is the
best.  I have seen ads for FractalMagic from Sintar Software in Bellevue
Washington and it looks pretty neat but I have never played with it.

  I have a 286 box running at 12.5Mhz and VGA so I would like the package
in question to take advantage of my machine.

  As I am sure this topic has been beaten to death by now, I would prefer
replies via e-mail as not to clutter the net.
