newsreader, and asks whether anybody has one...

I've got a primitive (but usable) newsreader, and a VERY primitive (barely
if at all usable) newsposter for UUPC.  The combination handles most of my
needs and so hasn't changed recently, but I could probably be talked into
doing some polishing and releasing it (them).

I also have a few other uupc-related tidbits... my uupc mailer has what
I believe to be an rfc-976 compliant router and supports mailing lists...

Sam, I've tried several times to get responses out of you and others at
van-bc, to no avail.  (I'm afraid I've basically given up.)  I'd love to
discuss these things, and maybe even (gasp) reintegrate my stuff with your
latest, but...  Anyhow, *please* ack this message.  If nothing else works,
my phone number is 818-362-8795.  (This message is being duplicated in
email, but given past failures...)

Please don't flood me with requests for beta copies.  I don't think it's
at that stage yet.
