HELP!!

I need to write a program in Microsoft C on an IBM PS/2 model 80 with
a microsoft mouse (not a serial mouse).  I have no idea on how to write
a mouse interface (I need the mouse to move the cursor around the screen,
sense when it's buttons are pressed, etc.). If anyone could send me some
sample routines or hints, I would greatly appreciate it.
