Ah, I am the author of DVIVGA. It is available by ftp from b.scs.uiuc.edu, also known as 128.174.90.2 for those whose nameservers are naughty. DVIVGA1.arc is the executable and doc files. Dvivga2 through dvivga8 are font files. Dvivga9 is the source. There was posted there for a SHORT time a copy with a bug in it. The correct executable is 75463 bytes long when unpacked. (The bug only bites if you DON'T have an '87 chip and DO display pages where text runs across the top or bottom margin of the page - not the screen, the page.) I installed a disk cache program on my PC yesterday and noticed a 60% speedup in displaying the first page of a file. If you have a copy of this thing in an archive or on a bulletin board, please do me a favor and check the version you have. Also, in the same place is a TeX previewer for the IBM8514a display, in native 768x1024 mode. Doug McDonald (mcdonald@uxe.cso.uiuc.edu)
