I'm looking for pointers to mass storage devices, specifically removable
disks, WORMs and electro-optical devices (I think the last item is correct,
if I remember the short blurb I saw, it's akin to a WORM but can be
rewritten many times).

I've seen the Sep88 PC-Mag article on removable hard drives and the Feb88
Byte on WORMs.  I hope someone can point me to other articles.
