Great print, good reliability, the letter-quality is great. My problem is that several programs I'm using for graphics output (PrintShop and Ventura Publishing, to name two) don't have Epson LQ drivers. They do have Espon FX drivers, which almost work. Since the LQ-500 is a 24-pin printer, and the FX is a 9-pin, all of the graphics output is stretched vertically by a 9/8 ratio. Does anyone know of a fix for this? Is there a printer TSR that can convert the format of the data somehow? Are there some arcane printer codes for the LQ that will make it more like an FX? (The user manual sure doesn't mention anything like that!) Any help will be greatly appreciated, any mail replies will be summarized and posted. Thanks... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- To live and not fly is not living... George Lehmann PP/ASEL/IA ...!uunet!apctrc!zgel05 Amoco Production Co.
