I noticed that ours is (similar to the original AT's) using an *8K* block size. With over 1000 files, I figure we're wasting ~4Mb. I know there's a low-level format routine in the bios, but I don't know what the proper set of parameters are, and I don't know if disk performance would suffer with a different format.
