If you buy an SE with a 20Mb drive you'll get:

(1) A measly 3 month hard-disk warranty.
(2) Pathetic 85ms access time (no slower in the industry).
(3) For this you "get to" spend about $200 more than is necessary.

If you buy a 3rd-party drive, open the case & snap it in, you can
probably get 40ms access time, pocket the $200, and relax because you
get a 1-year or 2-year warranty.

On the other hand, for the extra $200, you could move up to a 30- or
40- megabyte drive, and perhaps get 28ms access time.
