I don't think that the "NNSTAT" program will work directly under 4.0 since
the "nit socket" to the Ethernet interface got changed substancially in
4.0.  A streams interface has been used in 4.0 instead. I am not sure that
a port for 4.0 is available yet from the original contributor
(venera.isi.edu).

I am also interested in the 4.0 port. If anybody has knowledge of the port
I would appreciate it.
