I just upgraded my 3/260 from 3.5 to 4.0 and noticed something strange
about a header in a mail message.   If I am logged on as root when I send
message, the From line (not the From: line) looks like this:

    From sync [date and time here]

Why sync and not root?

If I'm logged on in my regular account, the From line has the correct user
name.
