For other reasons I had requested 3.5 from SUN and was happy to see two
bug fixes that looked like my system hang symptoms in the fixed bugs
section.   After loading 3.5 it reported a hard error in the swap area.
After remapping the sector the system has not hung once.  I would
recommend that anyone running SCSI drives (espcially 3'rd party or home
brew dirves) upgrade to at least 3.5.  We were sitting at 3.4 waiting for
the smoke from 4.0 to clear.
