Each board has a 12-bit in, 24-bit out CLUT. This can be partitioned (by software) into (say) 4 bits of R, G and B. Where TRUE colour is required, 3 framestore boards can be configured together. There is also a framegrabber on board. The virtual resolution is 2 million pixels. Note that this is a 12-bit deep memory, but 24-bit out.
