Many applications, for example, allow spawning of the control panel winapp. I believe you must use a Windows version of the standard spawn() function. More can be found from Microsoft's OnLine service or on CompuServe. I'll dig up what I can find in the meantime. What kind of "device drivers" do you have in mind. A typical Windows device driver is actually a DLL (dynamically-linked library).
