Has anyone any information about running Windows/386 under DOS 4.0?

On a PS/2 mod 70 with 100 mb hard disk, using VGA, it doesn't run.
On a Compaq 386 with 100 mb hard disk, using EGA, it does (so I'm told).

Windows/286 runs fine. So does running WIN86 in the Windows/386 
directory.

So, what's up here? (Anyone from Microsoft listening? :-)
