I am asking this on behalf of some people we have at a site which 
cannot reach this newsgroup.  Is there a mail list via which they
can participate?  Is mailing to comp-windows-x@ucbvax the way to go
with requests that people respond to them via mail?  If not, then
I will have to post questions for them and have all communications
go through me  (which can be done, but may not be very practical
depending on the volume of questions and responses).
 
I would appreciate any suggestions regarding this matter.  Since our
connection in the last week has been somewhat flaky, I would appreciate
receiving responses to my question also via e-mail.
