Computing and Information Technology Lines: 10 I have Stanback's 4-25-88 version of gnuchess and I've noticed a couple of bugs. First, when you promote a pawn, it doesn't ask you what kind of piece you want - it just gives you a queen. The other thing is, if you "undo" a promotion, the queen does not revert to a pawn like it should: it stays as a queen.
