Version: GNU Emacs 18.52.6 of Sun Nov 20 1988 on kleph (hpux)

When I use rmail, and I have another mail buffer in memory, and i use
'o' to output a message to that buffer, it writes to file, not to
memory, causing all sorts of bad problems...  It says it is suppossed
to DTRT in the manual, but it doesn't in this version.

What is going on?
