Have you heard of Pcomm?? It is a public domain telecommunication program for Unix designed to operate similar to the popular MSDOS program, ProComm. It has an external gateway to provide the kind of capability you're talking about (in addition to xmodem, xmodem-1k, ymodem, and ymodem-g built-in). Pcomm v1.1 appeared in comp.sources.unix as v16i006 thru v16i013 around the second week of Sept 1988. In addition, the source was posted to unix-pc.sources about the same time. There are now 6 offical patches to Pcomm. Emmet P.
