Someone mentioned that the dhrystone listings would take 2 to 3 time the
bandwidth of the compressed versions.  Doesn't the news system compress
things before they are distributed?  In other words, the perceived savings
in bandwidth are not realized; the only savings is in disk storage, which
might or might not be important.
