They were quite capable and VERY FAST. The only problem at the time was that the OS was not yet mature, and we had NO DOCUMENTATION on it. Therefore, it was a real chore to accomplish anything on that machine since it was running NOS/VE not NOS. It was clear, though, that it was FAR superior to the 170s running NOS for accomplishing many of the tasks I had.
