A recent posting in comp.newprod announced the existence of a program called
BackMailand stated that it had been submitted to the moderator of
comp.sys.ibm.pc. I assume they really meant comp.binaries.ibm.pc. I have not
seen any information in either of these groups, and have no access to
SIMTEL20 <msdos.modem>backmail.arc. It is supposed to be a shareware program
by Athletic Software that allows you to send/receive mail from your PC as a
background task. The precise name is BackMail. I would appreciate
information about this program, and would love to hear if you have a copy
you could share with me. Please send replies to ...!att!attmail!avigross
since this machine (pegasus) is in transition.
