Would someone mind posting a summary of the status of 9600 bps modem
proposed compatibility, and how that relates to v.32, v.34, and v.42?

Specifically I'm interested in how soon it will be before Hayes, TB,
and USR can all talk, and what protocol they will be using when they
do. 

If no one has summarized the info, but if someone has saved the
various articles from TB, etc, and will forward them to me, *I* will
summarize and post to the net.
