    Can anyone provide me with information or sources for the format in
    which FAX machines transmit data.  I would like to take a graphic in
    a format I am familiar with and convert it to FAX format for trans-
    mission directly from a modem to a FAX machine.  That is, I want to
    write a utility to accomplish this.     Thanks,  J. Petersen
