We are researching the generation of type curves for petroleum
engineering applications.  The equations and papers that we have
accumulated use the inversion of the Laplace transform of a diffusivity
equation.

Our major reference is "A Comparison Between Different Skin and Wellbore
Storage Type-Curves For Early Time Transient Analysis" SPE 8205 by
Alain C. Gringarten, et.al.

We are developing tools in C and C++ to perform curve matching.

Does anyone know of public domanin algorithms or further references concerning
the above?  

We are looking for an easy yet effective way to generate the type curves!
