Hello:

I am looking for a fast algorithm for the following task:

A ".sim" file (e.g. Berkeley format) contains all the mosfets for a given chip.
Since for area reasons some mosfets are laid out as a parallel combination
of several mosfets, the ".sim" file may contain multiple mosfets with the
same set terminals.  For the use in a switch level simulator, these multiple
mosfets must be merged into single mosfets of combined strength.

Is anyone aware of a public domain software that accomplishes this
task of unfolding mosfets fast?
