I'm toying with the idea of coding an OS/2 specific version
of sendmail().  (rfc 821 / 822 headers).  I'm opting to
write it from scratch in order to take advantage of some
OS/2's features.  Such as multi threaded, and dynamic
loading libraries. (other reasons also include the some unix
functions which don't work well on OS/2. Like fork() ).
However, before I can seriously undertake this project, I'd
like someone to 'sponsor' me.

I need a local host which I can send and receive smtp mail
to, via modem. (I don't want to do all this work just to
send mail around on my local area network).  I'm located in
the seattle/redmond area. (area code: 206). If you could

Also, I would appreciate any related information. (and/or
viewpoints).
